That reminds me, we made it to the zoo today! Lucked out and it was dollar day!
Other than the zoo animals, the most recent wildlife I have seen in person was a huge rat limping across the road in broad daylight a couple of days ago. Yeeks! I would much rather have seen a pretty little fawn like you did.
I got the rest of the story on the triplet fawns that the deer in our front yard had last year. My neighbor found the littlest one dead in her yard. The other two were still quite healthy this spring.
